Central Bank holds training for pensioners

21 November 2019, Baku: The Central Bank of the Republic of Azerbaijan held economic and financial awareness trainings for pensioners, participants of the ‘Third spring’ social project as part of the ‘Financial literacy month’.
The participants were provided with recommendations on ‘Responsible lending ‘and ‘Payment cards’, more burning issues in terms of financial literacy, as well as information on advantages of using payment cards and security requirements followed by the Q&A session.
In general, these trainings play an important role in raising financial knowledge and skills of various strata of the population.
At the same time, the trainings in question are of immediate interest in terms of the implementation of the ‘Increase of knowledge and skills of financial market participants’ target in the ‘Strategic Roadmap on Development of Financial Services in the Republic of Azerbaijan’ and the ‘State Program on expansion of digital payments for 2018-2020’.
The Bank will further continue related trainings and workshops for various target groups, as well as measures oriented towards increasing financial knowledge and skills of the population.
