New animation about ‘Insurance’ placed on Financial Literacy portal

20 February 2019, Baku: The CBA continues events related to implementation of the ‘Increase of knowledge and skills of financial market participants’ target assigned by the Strategic Roadmap on Development of Financial Services in the Republic of Azerbaijan approved by Decree of 6 December 2016 of President of the Republic of Azerbaijan and actions to raise financial literacy of the population. The events, oriented towards raising financial literacy of financial service consumers and rendering intellectual support for them in rational decision taking, are aided by state-of-art e-resources.

The CBA released a new ‘Insurance’ animation in the Financial Literacy portal (www.bizimpullar.az), one of the e-intellectual tools, used by target groups to increase knowledge. The animation developed jointly with the specialists from the Financial Markets Supervisory Authority explains example-based insurance definitions, and recommends consumers which instances should be focused on in selection of insurance products. The main goal of the animation is to inform the population on insurance, principles for indemnification of damages during insurance cases and specifics of insurance agreements.

To note, the Financial Literacy Portal allows to get familiarized with information materials on the economy, central banking, as well as financial services, explanatory animations, and use games with economic content and calculators.
