Central Bank issues 748 pieces of golden commemorative coins to circulation in 2019

24 February 2020, Baku: The Central Bank of the Republic of Azerbaijan issues to circulation jubilee and commemorative coins dedicated to our country’s prominent personalities, history, culture and art, as well as the topics on socio-political and historical developments. The coins issued to circulation are met with interest by the broad public and local and international numismatists.

The Central Bank issued to circulation total 1844 pcs of jubilee and commemorative coins to circulation in 2019 – 748 pcs of gold, 45 pcs of gold-platinum, 967 pcs of silver and 84 pcs of cupro nickel coins, minted of 999 proof precious metals.

To note, the Bank places information on jubilee and commemorative coins on sale in the ‘National currency’ section of the official website of the Central Bank.
