Certificates presented to participants of ‘Insured future’ promo program

2 March 2020, Baku: An ‘Insured future’ promo program organized by  the ASAN Volunteer School of the State Agency for Public Service and Social Innovations under the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Central Bank of the Republic of Azerbaijan is being implemented as part of the ‘Insurance volunteers project (2019-2021)’ under Item 5.4.3 of the ‘Actions Plan for the Improvement of the insurance sector’ approved by Decree# 354c of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Azerbaijan dated 21 May 2019.

The Program provides for temporary ASAN Service volunteers’ gaining experience in insurance, getting practical skills on insurance topics and related education of citizens.

Volunteers eligible to participate in the program will first attend a 2-week training course conducted by insurance specialists and Agency trainers, to be followed by their involvement in ASAN Service Centers in Baku. Volunteers will educate the public in the insurance sector, increase public interest in insurance and conduct insurance surveys.

To date, more than 80 ASAN volunteers from 2 groups have received more than 16,000 surveys and informed citizens accordingly. ASAN volunteers, participants of the ‘Insured Future’ campaign, received certificates.

To note, next groups on the ‘Insurance volunteers’ project will operate in the regions along with Baku this year at the initiative of the Central Bank.
