The Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of the Population, the Central Bank of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Azerbaijan Banks Association are informing the population that due to ‘COVİD – 19’ pandemic, payment schedules of pensions, social allowances and compensations, as well as targeted state social assistance (TSSA) have been changed for the duration of the special quarantine regime to manage crowds in front of ATMs.

Pensions in the city of Sumgait and the district of Absheron; Sabail, Yasamal, Binagadi, Nasimi and Garadagh districts of Baku will be paid on the 8^th day of a month; in Nizami, Narimanov and Khatai districts of Baku on the 9^th day of a month; Khazar, Pirallahi, Sabunchu and Surakhany districts of Baku on the 10^th day of a month; in other regions of the Republic, as well as to civil servants, military and special rank persons on the 15^th day of a month.

For the duration of the special quarantine, allowances, pensions and compensations will be paid on the 20th and 21th day of a month, and TSSAs on the 28th day of a month.

Please note that adults aged 65+ are not allowed to leave their homes due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Accordingly, it is recommended that people in these age groups receive their bank card transfers with the help of family members or social workers by applying to the 142 Call Center, and elderly people living alone are advised to receive their social card transfers with the help of social workers.

At the same time, it is stated that for the duration of the special quarantine regime you can receive your pensions, allowances, compensations, targeted social assistances at ATMs of any bank, as well as at any ATM or POS-terminal of the Azerpost without any additional interest.
