Social videos on how to protect against coronavirus developed

05 May 2020, Baku:  Various actions are conducted on boosting literacy on and promotion of digital payments and increasing public awareness provided for in the ‘State Program on expansion of digital payments in the Republic of Azerbaijan for 2018-2020’ on an ongoing basis.

Educational videos were developed to encourage economic agents and households to more actively use e-banking services during COVID-19 pandemic on the basis of joint cooperation of the Central Bank of the Republic of Azerbaijan (CBA), the Azerbaijan Banks Association (ABA), the International Financial Corporation, the Swiss State Secretariat for Economic Affairs (SECO) and the Savings Banks Foundation for International Cooperation (SBFIC).

Animated videos developed at a joint initiative of the CBA and ABA cover topics on how to buy goods and services over Internet, make contactless payments with payment cards during shopping in economic agents, use mobile banking and safely increase the balance of card accounts.
