Webinars conducted for financial sector specialists

5 August 2020, Baku: The Central Bank continues economic awareness actions as part of the ‘Increasing knowledge and skills of financial market participants’ target of the ‘Strategic Roadmap on development of financial services’ and  the ‘State Program on expansion of digital payments in the Republic of Azerbaijan in 2018-2020’ and in connection with the ‘Financial literacy month’.

According to the actions plan, next trainings were organized in an online regime involved by employees of the financial and banking sector. Webinars were jointly organized by the Central Bank of the Republic of Azerbaijan, the Azerbaijan Banks Association, MasterCard and ‘Jet Infosystems’ OJSC for banking professionals on the ‘PCI DSS standard’ on  July  22, on ‘Solutions introduced on cyber security and anti-fraud’ on July 30 and on ‘Transformation of banking business in the digital economy. New strategies to create value’ on August 4. 

Total 225 specialists attended the webinars maintained discussions followed by the Q&A session.
