Financial literacy webinar held for volunteers of Agency for Sustainable and Operational Social Security (DOST)

04 September 2020, Baku: The Central Bank continues implementation of actions to raise financial literacy at workplaces, public and private organizations as part of the ‘Increasing market participants’ knowledge and skills’ target of the ‘Strategic Roadmap on development of financial services at the Republic of Azerbaijan’ and the ‘State Program on expansion of digital payments in the Republic of Azerbaijan for 2018-2020’. As continuation of these events the Bank held a webinar for 35 volunteers of the Agency for Sustainable and Operations Social Security (DOST) on ‘Responsible lending’ and ‘Digital payments’ on 2 September 2020. The participants maintained discussions around the above topics followed by the Q&A session at the webinar held by the Central Bank staff.
The Central Bank, which pays special attention to financial education in workplaces, increasing financial knowledge and skills of employees of various organizations and institutions, plans to organize webinars in upcoming weeks on the above areas.
