Central Bank holds financial literacy trainings in Guba

19 December 2018, Baku: The CBA held another seminar for a group of students and pensioners in the town of Guba with respect to the implementation of the ‘Increasing knowledge and skills of financial market participants’ target of the ‘Strategic Roadmap on Development of Financial Services’. The pensioners, involved to the ‘Third spring’ social project and students of the Guba Socio-economic College were educated on security elements of currency, banking operations, money transfers, loans and guarantees, and informed on the Financial literacy portal, (bizimpullar.az) and the Virtual education platform (edu.e-cbar.az) at the CBA’s Guba Regional Center on 13-14 December. They saw topic-related animations, maintained discussions followed by Q&A session.

To note, pensioners engaged in the ‘Third spring’ social project have been involved to financial literacy events this year as a pilot target group. In view of their related interest and willingness the Bank is planning to continue financial awareness efforts for pensioners.

The CBA will continue various target group oriented events expanding its current initiatives with respect to the implementation of the above Strategic Roadmap.
