Central Bank of the Republic of Azerbaijan signs MoU on cooperation with Central Bank of the Turkish Republic

18 December 2020, Baku: The Central Bank of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Central Bank of the Turkish Republic signed a Memorandum of Understanding on cooperation, the goal of which is to deepen the ties of cooperation of both countries on central banking, share information and expand cooperation.
The signed MoU provides for exchange of experience on various directions of central banking between the CBA and the CBTR, joint research, training programs and supply of consulting services. At the same time, as part of the MoU the parties will exchange information and views on economic and financial processes in both countries and central banking issues.
Intensive cooperation has been established between the CBA and the CBTR for many years, and joint technical assistance projects have been implemented in various functional areas of central banking.
This Memorandum will serve to further strengthen cooperation between the central banks of the two brotherly countries, as in all areas, and contribute to the development of both central banking and the banking system of both countries as a whole.
