Images of a 500-manat banknote with the Khari Bulbul, the Shusha fortress, a horse, etc. described on it have been spread on social networks recently.

We would like to note that in accordance with the requirements of the Constitution of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Law of the Republic of Azerbaijan on the Central Bank, designing and issuance of national currency is carried out only by the Central Bank of the Republic of Azerbaijan.

We would like to inform you that the Central Bank of the Republic of Azerbaijan has not issued a 500 manat banknote and the information spread on social networks is not true.

We call on our citizens to be careful in these matters and obtain information on our national currency from the Central Bank of the Republic of Azerbaijan and its official website.
