Guidelines on registration of securities developed

24-02-2021

The Central Bank maintains public registration of securities and a public register of issue of securities and emission prospectus as part of the regulation and supervision of capital markets.

Since the requirements on registration of securities is covered by various legislative acts, documents submitted to the Central Bank by issuers to have shares and corporate bonds registered are developed not in full compliance with the requirements of the legislation in many cases. This leads to a longer registration process during the review of applications by the Central Bank and low operational flexibility of issuers seeking financing from the capital market.

To eliminate the above shortfalls and make the registration of securities more effective, the Central Bank has developed guidelines for issuers. The guidelines summarize the procedures for issuing shares and bonds in a single document, detail the documents required for state registration and withdrawal of securities from circulation and the requirements established by law during their preparation.
