Meeting held with entrepreneurs in Khachmaz as part of Investment journey project

21 October 2021, Baku: The Central Bank takes ongoing actions to implement the goals set in the strategic plan for the capital market development. The Investment Journey project has been launched to promote financing of business entities through the capital market and raise capital market literacy. A first investment journey with the participation of representatives of the Central Bank, the Small and Medium Business Development Agency of the Republic of Azerbaijan (SMBDA), the Baku Stock Exchange and investment companies was to the Guba-Khachmaz Regional Development Center located in the region of Khachmaz to the meeting with entrepreneurs on 20 October 2021.

Capital market specialists informed the entrepreneurs on capital market financing and advantages of listing at the Baku Stock Exchange, the investment companies maintained interactive discussions with business entities interested in capital market financing and assessed their financing opportunities. 

The Central Bank, the SMBDA and capital market participants will continue events in regions as part of the Investment journey project.
