Central Bank held an event dedicated to the Victory Day in Bilasuvar Kindergarten-School-Lyceum Complex named after National Hero Mubariz Ibrahimov

5 November 2021, Baku: At the initiative and organization of the Central Bank, on the eve of the anniversary of the historic victory of the Azerbaijani army in the 44-day Patriotic War of 2020 under the leadership of President of Azerbaijan, Victorious Supreme Commander-in-Chief Ilham Aliyev, the "Open lesson" event dedicated to the great victory was held in the Bilasuvar Kindergarten-School-Lyceum Complex named after National Hero Mubariz Ibrahimov.

Speaking at the event attended by the families of martyrs, Agakerim Ibrahimov, father of National Hero M.Ibahimov, veterans, district administration, Deputy Speaker of the Milli Majlis Fazail Ibrahimli and other guests, Elman Rustamov, Governor of the Central Bank greeted the participants and noted that under the leadership of President Ilham Aliyev, our glorious army won a great victory and liberated our lands, which have been under occupation for almost thirty years, historical justice was restored, and new, proud pages of our statehood history were written. This glorious victory on the battlefield is the embodiment of the purposeful and far-sighted policy founded by National Leader Heydar Aliyev and pursued for many years, the enormous work done in the field of increasing the national economic potential, building a modern and powerful army with the close unity of our people around the President, and most importantly, the President-People unity.

It was noted with great pride that 12 employees of the Central Bank, as well as 3 teachers of the lyceum  also took part in the Patriotic War. They were awarded with medals by the relevant Orders of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, as well as honorary diplomas for high results.

It was stated that all these heroic deeds of our people, our glorious army were happened due to the great courage of such brave sons of the homeland as Mubariz Ibrahimov. The glorious 44-day war was the war of the 21st century. This right-wing war waged with high military technologies has once again shown that the present and future generations of our people must be educated with unshakable moral and patriotic spirit, as well as intelligent servicemen with the latest technological knowledge. Undoubtedly, all this starts with modern and strong educational institutions such as Bilasuvar Lyceum Complex.

He noted that the Lyceum has great success worthy of the name of National Hero Martyr Mubariz Ibrahimov. Over the years, all graduates of the school have been successfully admitted to universities, including a group of students of the complex received the right to study at foreign universities. The complex has been considered the leading school of the Republic 5 times in a row since 2015. International educational programs have been launched at the lyceum since the last academic year. After graduating from high school, high school graduates continue their education at leading universities in Turkey, Germany, Spain, Italy and Hungary. All this shows that the idea of forming a modern competent, analytical-minded human capital, set by the Central Bank by creating the "Mubariz Lyceum", is being successfully implemented.

Great attention is paid to the families of martyrs and veterans in the lyceum. All opportunities have been mobilized here for the better education of the children of the families of martyrs and veterans. Thus, in the current academic year, 17 children of 11 martyrs and one martyr's brother received free education in the Complex, and 9 veterans' children received education at a discount based on the student's academic performance.

In other speeches, it was also emphasized that this glorious victory based on the great leadership of the Victorius Commander-in-Chief, the holy blood of our martyrs, the unparalleled bravery of our veterans and the courage of our people, will live forever in our memories, our independent and strong Azerbaijan will always exist.

The event continued with the presentation of the Center for Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Mathematics (STEAM) located in the building of the Lyceum Complex. An open lesson entitled "History of Victory", a chess tournament "Iron Fist", as well as a discussion of the story about the Patriotic War on the project "110 books" were organized here with the participation of lyceum employees who are the veterans of the Second Karabakh War.

Afterwards, gifts were presented to the participants of the Patriotic War working at the Lyceum. Food aid was distributed to the families of martyrs, meetings were held with the families of martyrs from Bilasuvar and Jabrayil districts.
