Working Group on Financial Markets Development and Accesibility of Loans of the Commission on Business Environment and International Rankings holds next meeting

The next meeting of the Working Group on Financial Markets Development and Accesibility of Loans of the Commission on Business Environment and International Rankings was held on October 29, 2021, 15:00 through online platform “Webex”.

Topics on the Actions Plan of the Working Group for 2022, tax optimization options for start-ups, formation of legal framework for venture and crowdfunding and their guarantee mechanisms and efforts to increase access of foreign investors to the local financial market have been discussed in the meeting organized through online platform “Webex” due to COVID-19 global pandemic virus.

At the end of the meeting held in the format of mutual discussions, it has been decided to summarize the proposals on the issues highlighted during the meeting and submit to the Secretary of the Comission within the state-business dialogue through the working group.

Representatives of the Central Bank, the Ministry of Justice, the Ministry of Economy, the Ministry of Finance, State Oil Fund, Small and Medium Business Development Agency, Center for Analysis of Economic Reforms and Communication, Azerbaijan Banks Association, Embassy of Switzerland to the Republic of Azerbaijan and Turkmenistan, “International Bank of Azerbaijan” OJSC, “Access Bank” CJSC, “Parabokt” CJSC have participated at the meeting.
