Meeting held with entrepreneurs in Lankaran as part of Investment journey project

6 December 2021, Baku: The Central Bank takes ongoing actions to implement the goals set in the strategic plan for the capital market development. The Investment Journey project is under way to promote financing of business entities through the capital market and raise capital market literacy. A second investment journey with the participation of representatives of the Central Bank, the Small and Medium Business Development Agency of the Republic of Azerbaijan (SMBDA), the Baku Stock Exchange and investment companies was at the Heydar Aliyev Center located in the town of Lankaran on 3 December 2021.

Capital market specialists informed the entrepreneurs on capital market financing and advantages of listing at the Baku Stock Exchange, the investment companies maintained interactive discussions with business entities interested in capital market financing and assessed their financing opportunities.

The Central Bank, the SMBDA and capital market participants will continue events in regions as part of the Investment journey project.
