22-11-2022

22 November 2022, Baku: The Central Bank of the Republic of Azerbaijan takes appropriate measures for more effective reception of financial consumers.

One of these measures is to enable consumers who live in the regions and have complaints against supervisory authorities to appeal to the Central Bank without visiting the Central Bank headquarters in Baku and also to hold consumer reception in the regional centers of the Central Bank in Guba, Bilasuvar and Ganja cities to increase consumer satisfaction. Consumers can appeal to the Guba Regional Center (Guba city, H.Aliyev Avenue 219B), Bilasuvar Regional Center (Bilasuvar city, H.Aliyev Str. 2B)  and Ganja Regional Center (Ganja city, Nizami Avenue 204) of the Central Bank.

To note, the reception of consumers in the city of Baku is carried out in the administrative building of the Central Bank at Bulbul Avenue 27. Also, in order to increase citizens’ satisfaction, a Queue Management System has been created and provided to consumers to automate the queues. Consumers have an opportunity to register in an online queue via the official website of the Central Bank (www.cbar.az) without coming to the administrative buiding of the Central Bank at Bulbul Avenue 27. The online queue registration is available at www.randevu.e-cbar.az.

Consumers taking part in the reception can submit an application form in the reception room or apply online using a QR Code. In order to find out the impressions of the consumers participating in the reception about the existing system and the process of reception, to weigh the level of their satisfaction, as well as to analyze and evaluate the activity of the executor and the reception staff, a scannable QR code has been placed in the reception rooms and a questionnaire has been prepared for consumers.

In case of any questions, we recommend consumers to contact the Central Bank’s Hotline ‘966’.

Financial consumer protection is one of the priority issues of the Central Bank, and strategic measures will be implemented in this area in the near future. Additional information will be provided to the public about the measures that will be  implemented by the Central Bank to strengthen the consumer protection framework in accordance with the best international practice.
