Central Bank releases Financial Stability Report for 2022

15 March 2023, Baku: In accordance with its strategic communication mission, the Central Bank of the Republic of Azerbaijan continues to actively inform and educate the public, including the target groups, through various communication tools to form adequate economic expectations in the society. In this regard, the Financial Stability Report is presented to a wide audience twice a year.

The document analyzes the global economic situation, the macroeconomic environment in which local financial institutions operate, assesses the state of the banking system, its risks and resilience to external shocks through stress tests, as well as provides analysis of non-bank credit institutions, the insurance system and capital markets. At the same time, regulatory and control priorities for 2023 are identified for segments of the financial sector.

The Financial Stability Report will be regularly published in electronic form on the official website of the Central Bank up to the best international practices.
