Central Bank holds next tree planting event dedicated to 100th birth anniversary of National Leader Heydar Aliyev

17 April 2023, Baku: The Central Bank held the next tree planting event on the occasion of the 100^th anniversary of the birth of the National Leader Heydar Aliyev on 15 April 2023.

Employees of the Central Bank together with their children planted 200 Eldar pines and olive trees suitable for the soil and climate conditions of the Absheron Peninsula in the area located in Mushfigabad settlement.

To note, under the Memorandum of Understanding signed between the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources, the Central Bank, Azerbaijan Banks Association, Azerbaijan Insurers Association, Azerbaijan Microfinance Association, Azerbaijan Stock Market Participants Association and Azerbaijan Fintech Association, starting this year, a total of 1,000,000 trees will be planted, 100,000 trees per year for 10 years.
