Central Bank of the Republic of Azerbaijan announcing issue of renewed 5 gapik coins into circulation

25 September 2023, Baku: The Central Bank of the Republic of Azerbaijan is announcing that it is issuing into circulation renewed 5 gapik coins on 25 September 2023.

The Coat of Arms and the production year are depicted as new design elements on the reverse of the renewed 5 gapik coin issued into circulation.

Other design elements and technical parameters of the renewed 5 gapik coin have been left unchanged as the same denomination coin currently in circulation.

The renewed 5 gapik coin will be in parallel circulation with the same denomination coins currently in circulation.
