Meeting held with entrepreneurs in Shamkir as part of the Investment Journey project

2 October 2023, Baku: The Central Bank continues its educational activities to improve financial literacy in the capital market. As part of the Investment Journey project, aimed at promoting financing of business entities through the capital market and raising awareness of capital market opportunities, the ninth meeting with entrepreneurs was held in Shamkir on 29 September 2023 with the participation of representatives of the Central Bank, Small and Medium Business Development Agency of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Baku Stock Exchange and investment companies.

At the event, capital market experts informed entrepreneurs about the advantages of capital market financing and listing on the Baku Stock Exchange. At the same time, interactive discussions were held with business entities interested in capital market financing through investment companies and the financing opportunities were assessed.

The Central Bank, SMBDA and capital market participants will continue joint activities  in the regions as part of the Investment Journey project.
