Central Bank holds another training session for media representatives

6 October 2023, Baku: The Central Bank constantly keeps in the spotlight the issues of strengthening professional cooperation with media institutions as one of the main target audiences, as well as increasing the journalists’ literacy in the field of macroeconomics and the financial system, and especially in the field of central banking. Close cooperation with the media and the work carried out towards improving their financial literacy are of great importance to ensure a clear understanding of the monetary and financial stability policies by the general public, the correct transmission of policy messages to the public, broad coverage of banking and financial activities in the media, a clear perception by the public of the economic reforms being carried out in the country, and as a result, to form correct economic expectations in the public.
The Central Bank regularly organizes trainings for media representatives on the topics of improving knowledge and skills on central banking, the financial and banking system, as well as the "Open Door" events.
To continue this process, the Central Bank, together with the National Depository Center and the Baku Stock Exchange, held another training for media representatives on 5-6 October, 2023.
The training included presentations on the prudential regulatory framework implemented by the Central Bank, advantages of the capital market, as well as directions of activity of the National Depository Center.
The participants’ questions were answered in detail during the training.
At the end of the event, the participants were awarded certificates.
