Delegation from the National Bank of the Kyrgyz Republic is on a business trip to Azerbaijan

14 May 2024, Baku: A business trip of the delegation led by Kubanychbek Bokontayev, Governor of the National Bank of the Kyrgyz Republic (NBKR), to Azerbaijan has started on 13 May.

During the visit, the NBKR delegation will be engaged in a series of meetings and exchange of experience with the Central Bank of Azerbaijan (CBA).

Initially, the delegation, headed by Kubanychbek Bokontayev, met with Taleh Kazimov, Governor of the CBA.

The meeting facilitated discussions on enhancing mutual relations between the central banks of both countries and exploring cooperation opportunities.

The discussions were followed by the signing of the Memorandum of Understanding on Cooperation. Taleh Kazimov, Governor of the CBA, emphasized the significance of the Memorandum in fostering expanded collaboration between the institutions.

It should be noted that preliminary discussions regarding the signing of the Memorandum took place at the meeting of the governors in Astana, the capital of Kazakhstan, in November of last year.

CBA employees exchange their experience with the NBKR delegation on vital areas. The delegation can gain insights into the activities of various structural units of the CBA. Furthermore, CBA employees will deliver presentations and share practical information as part of the ongoing exchange of experiences.
