Central Bank of the Republic of Azerbaijan issues renewed 1 gapik coin into circulation

20 May 2024, Baku: The Central Bank of the Republic of Azerbaijan has issued renewed 1 gapik coins into circulation.

The reverse of the renewed coin features the Coat of Arms of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the manufacturing year as new design elements.

Other design elements and technical parameters of the renewed 1 gapik coin have been left unchanged, consistent with the coin of the same denomination currently in circulation.

The renewed 1 gapik coin will be in parallel circulation with the existing one.
