Central Bank hosts event on Importance of State Registry of Encumbrance of Movable Property in international ratings

25 June 2024, Baku: The Central Bank and the Bar Association co-organized an event aimed at raising literacy among lawyers on the State Registry of Encumbrance of Movable Property (Registry) on June 25.
The event included discussions on legislative acts related to the encumbrance of movable property, the opportunities provided by the legal framework for businesses and creditors, the importance of the Registry in determining rights and advantages of priority over the property, and its practical application.
Additionally, participants were delivered Central Bank’s e-resources on financial knowledge.
We would like to mention that the Central Bank continuously conducts literacy events for focus groups to encourage them to obtain loans by pledging movable property.
Note that, the Central Bank consistently emphasizes the enhancement of the business environment, aiming to improve the country's standing in international ratings. This involves expanding access to financial resources for businesses and raising awareness among key groups about these opportunities.
The Central Bank plans to continue holding similar meetings to facilitate access of the population and businesses to finance and promote the use of financial instruments.
