Central Bank holds ‘Financial stability analysis and stress testing’ workshop

13 September 2024, Baku: The Central Bank continues a series of workshops for media representatives to raise central banking and financial awareness. The latest workshop was dedicated to ‘Financial stability analysis and stress-testing’.

The workshop provided information on the stages of safeguarding financial stability, as well as analysis of system risks likely to threaten financial stability. When talking about the factors affecting financial stability, they considered internal and external factors. The participants were also detailed about the types and structure of stress tests and provided with examples of stress-testing findings and impact channels under certain scenarios. 

The workshop concluded with the Q&A session.
