Central Bank delegation commences business trip to the US to attend World Bank and IMF Annual Meetings

Baku, October 22, 2024: A delegation led by Taleh Kazimov, Governor of the Central Bank of the Republic of Azerbaijan, has started a business trip to the United States to participate in the Annual Meetings of the World Bank (WB) and the International Monetary Fund (IMF).

During the visit, the delegation is scheduled to attend the Constituency Group meeting, which includes Azerbaijan, hold high-level meetings with senior officials from the World Bank and IMF, and participate in events with finance ministers and central bank governors from the Caucasus, Middle East, and Central Asia.

It should be noted that the Annual Meetings of the World Bank and IMF bring together prominent leaders from governments, businesses, international organizations, civil society, and academia to discuss key global economic challenges and cooperation on pressing issues.
