Central Bank issues e-payment institution license to “Cüzdan” LLC

23 October 2024, Baku: The Central Bank has been considering applications for payment service licenses in accordance with the Law of the Republic of Azerbaijan “On Payment Services and Payment Systems.” As part of the ongoing process, the Management Board of the Central Bank decided to issue a perpetual license to “Cüzdan” LLC on 25 September 2024, granting it the right to carry out the activities of an e-payment institution.

The evaluation of other applications for payment service licenses keeps going. The Central Bank will publish updated information on payment service licenses on its official website.
