Call for applications: Phase two of Regulatory Sandbox begins

16 December 2024, Baku: Applications for participation in the second phase of the Regulatory Sandbox, which allows innovative products to be tested in a limited scope under the oversight of the Central Bank have started to be accepted.

During this phase, applications will be accepted for testing innovative products and services operating in the field of financial technologies. Applications will be accepted until 15 January 2025.

Innovative financial products that meet the criteria of the Regulatory Sandbox regime will be eligible to participate in the testing process, based on an agreement signed with the Central Bank.

Note that, the Regulatory Sandbox aims to foster the development of the market in a more transparent and efficient manner by enhancing financial inclusion throughout the country.

To participate in the Regulatory Sandbox, the documents and information specified in Item 4.2 of the ‘Regulation for the application of the Regulatory Sandbox regime’ can be sent to the Central Bank either through the dedicated website (sandbox.cbar.az) or in written form.
