Uzbek Central Bank delegation participates in experience exchange at Azerbaijan Central Bank

A delegation from the Central Bank of the Republic of Uzbekistan (CBU) visited the Central Bank to study the supervisory framework for non-bank credit institutions (NBCIs).

During the visit, the CBU delegation participated in the exchange of information on the newly adopted regulations of the Central Bank within the framework of supervision of NBCIs, business models, development dynamics, financial consumer protection, combating the legalization of criminally acquired property and the financing of terrorism, as well as financial inclusion.

A meeting of the CBU delegation with the Azerbaijan Microfinance Association, the Entrepreneurship Development Fund of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Agrarian Credit and Development Agency under the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Azerbaijan was also organized. The meeting provided detailed information on the principles of cooperation of NBCIs with these organizations and the process of financing.
