World Bank approves new Country Partnership Framework for Azerbaijan

30 January 2025, Baku: The World Bank Group Board of Directors has approved a new Country Partnership Framework (CPF) for Azerbaijan for 2025-2029 aimed at further strengthening cooperation with Azerbaijan. The new framework outlines the key strategic directions for engagement between Azerbaijan and the WB and targets transitioning our country towards greener and inclusive economy.

The new CPF will contribute to enhancing economic sustainability of Azerbaijan, promoting reforms in various sectors, and ensuring effective use of financial resources and focus on the implementation of initiatives on increasing financial inclusion.

Note that, the CPF is a vital document on the way to boosting sustainable development of the country and enhancing its global economic competitiveness. As a manifestation of long-standing partnership between our country and the WB this cooperation will contribute to the progress of Azerbaijan.
