Central Bank joins Global Financial Innovation Network as an observer

5 February 2025, Baku: The Central Bank of Azerbaijan has joined the Global Financial Innovation Network (GFIN) as an observer aiming to support the development of digital financial solutions and foster innovation.

Within this membership, the Central Bank of Azerbaijan will be able to participate in the Network’s initiatives and collaborate with leading global regulators and innovators. This engagement will contribute to aligning the technological advancement of the financial sector with international standards while enhancing financial market stability through the exchange of expertise and best practices.

Notably, GFIN is a global network that brings together financial regulators, central banks, international organizations, and other institutions involved in financial technology. GFIN’s primary mission is to facilitate and promote innovation in the financial sector.
