Central Bank hosts event promoting digital transformation and innovations in insurance sector

21 April 2025, Baku: The Central Bank is focused on accelerating the implementation of digital transformation in the financial sector, and is implementing important initiatives in this direction. One of these initiatives was an event held at the Central Bank on April 17 aimed at promoting digital transformation and innovations in the insurance sector.

The event was held with the participation of the Azerbaijan Insurers Association and executives of insurance companies operating in the country.

The interactive event discussed digitalization processes in the insurance sector, application of technological solutions, opportunities for cooperation with start-ups, and future prospects of insurance technologies. Experts from the Central Bank and those attending the event exchanged views on the challenges and opportunities arising in the era of technological development. Participants' questions were answered as well.
