Central Bank unveils 2024 progress status of Financial Sector Development Strategy for 2024-2026

22 April 2025, Baku: The status of implementation of the Financial Sector Development Strategy for 2024-2026, which was approved by the Management Board of the Central Bank last year, has been announced for the year 2024. A report on the implementation of the strategic activities identified in the Strategy for the financial sector has been prepared and published on the official website of the Central Bank.

The report includes information on planned activities implemented as of December 31, 2024, as well as delayed activities. The report also analyzes key achievements, next steps, and estimated quantitative potential indicators for each sector through year-end 2024.

It's worth noting that the three-year Strategy includes strategic objectives such as expanding financial inclusion, increasing financial service coverage, diversifying financial instruments, improving sector efficiency, implementing corporate governance, and strengthening transparency and sustainability.
