The next meeting of the Working Group on Financial Markets Development and Accessibility of Loans of the Commission on Business Environment and International Rankings, was held on May 22, 2025.

At the meeting held in online format, extensive discussions were held on the measures arising from the 2025 Action Plan of the Working Group.The meeting participants were informed about the issues of financing small and medium-sized enterprises, financial literacy, microfinance strategy, payment services, development of banking, insurance and capital markets and other relevant measures in the Action Plan, and an exchange of views was held on the aforementioned topics.At the same time, it was discussed a report on the implementation status of the decisions adopted at the meeting of the Working Group on January 24, 2025.At the meeting, it was attended by representatives of the Central Bank, the Ministry of Economy, the Ministry of Agriculture, the Ministry of Digital Development and Transport, the Ministry of Finance, the Ministry of Justice, the Center for Analysis of Economic Reforms and Communication, the Small and Medium Business Development Agency, the Business Development Fund, the Azerbaijan Credit Bureau, as well as the Azerbaijan Banks Association, the Azerbaijan Insurers Association, the Azerbaijan Microfinance Association, and the working group members of the private sector participants.
