Central Bank holds training session for credit union representatives on implementing AML/CFT legislation

24 June 2025, Baku: The Central Bank held a training session for credit union representatives on implementing legislation to combat the legalization of criminally obtained property and the financing of terrorism (AML/CFT).

In accordance with the 2025 training plan, important issues such as AML/CFT obligations, organization of an internal control program, implementation of customer due diligence, and monitoring of suspicious transactions were covered.

Participants engaged in extensive discussions based on the presentation, and their questions on the topics were answered in detail.
