Central Bank of Azerbaijan receives delegation from the Agency of the Republic of Kazakhstan for Regulation and Development of Financial Market

7 July 2025, Baku: A delegation from the Agency for Regulation and Development of the Financial Market of Kazakhstan (ARDFM) visited the Central Bank of Azerbaijan (CBA) to exchange experiences.

The main purpose of the working visit of the representatives of the ARDFM was to expand professional dialogue between regulatory agencies in the financial sector within the framework of bilateral technical cooperation. During the meetings, the CBA representatives provided information on securities registration, regulation of Islamic securities, as well as the securitization process and the activities of special finance companies.

The ARDFM delegation shared their institution’s experience on important topics, such as regulatory requirements for the review and approval of prospectuses, financial statements and other documents, the legal framework for green bonds, the application of a differential approach to the issuance of corporate securities, and bond guarantees and subsidies.

This visit was organized within the framework of the Memorandum of Understanding signed between the Central Bank of Azerbaijan and the Agency for Regulation and Development of the Financial Market of Kazakhstan in May of this year. The Memorandum envisages the exchange of information on the state and development of the financial market, standards and requirements for market regulation and supervision, as well as innovative mechanisms in this area, and the expansion of cooperation in improving mechanisms for monitoring the activities of market participants.
