Central Bank hosts National Press Day event

11 July 2025, Baku: The Central Bank continues to support the professional development of media representatives to raise awareness on the field of finance and central banking. To this end, the Central Bank organized a training session on Central Bank’s Monetary Policy, Forecasting, and their Communication on the occasion of National Press Day.

During the training, the importance of price stability and the essence of monetary policy were emphasized. Discussions focused on the Central Bank's new operational framework for monetary policy, monetary policy tools, the analysis and forecasting process, and other relevant topics. The training also covered methods of effectively communicating monetary policy to the public. Media representatives were given detailed answers to their questions on this topic.
