Central Bank of Azerbaijan signs MoU with Financial Services Regulatory Authority of ADGM

17 July 2025, Baku: The Central Bank of Azerbaijan signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on cooperation with the Financial Services Regulatory Authority of ADGM, the international financial centre of Abu Dhabi, the UAE’s Capital.

As part of the MoU, the two institutions aim to deepen cooperation in financial technologies and services, capital markets, and other relevant areas. Under the framework of the MoU, both authorities will actively engage in the exchange of experience and information, organization of training sessions and capacity-building activities, and support collaborative research initiatives and study visits aimed at knowledge sharing and professional development.  

This cooperation will enhance opportunities for learning from international experience and applying advanced regulatory approaches.

The MoU will also contribute significantly to strengthening strategic partnership relations by establishing a legal basis for cooperation between the two authorities.

Strengthening the dialogue between the institutions and implementing joint initiatives will contribute to the enhancement of regulatory practices in both countries and support the sustainable development of the financial sector.
