Central Bank of Azerbaijan signs Memorandum of Understanding with People’s Bank of China

4 September 2025, Baku:  A Memorandum of Understanding has been signed between the Central Bank of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the People’s Bank of China.

The MoU will contribute to the formation of a legal foundation for cooperation, strengthening ties and facilitating the exchange of best practices between the two banks. In addition, the institutions plan to work together on organizing meetings, seminars, and business visits to address issues related to monetary policy, the financial sector, payment systems, and financial technologies.

The memorandum is expected to contribute to both central banking and the broader development of the financial sectors in both countries.
