Azericard LLC will continue its activities as a payment system operator and payment organization

9 October 2025, Baku: On 12 September 2024, the Central Bank of the Republic of Azerbaijan (Central Bank) granted Azericard LLC (Organization) licenses for payment system operator activity (License No. ÖSO-001), and for acquiring payment transactions, issuing e-money and executing payment operations with e-money (License No. EPT-011). Based on the Organization's application, the Management Board of the Central Bank of the Republic of Azerbaijan cancelled the payment service for issuing e-money and executing payment transactions with e-money in its license on 8 October 2025.

Therefore, the Organization will continue its activities not as an electronic money organization, but as a payment organization and payment system operator.
