Central Bank delegation commences business trip to the US to attend World Bank and IMF Annual Meetings

13 October 2025, Baku: A delegation led by Taleh Kazimov, Governor of the Central Bank of Azerbaijan (CBA), has embarked on a working visit to the USA to participate in the 2025 Annual Meetings of the International Monetary Fund (IMF) and the World Bank (WB).

During the meetings, which will take place on 13-18 October, the delegation will attend the Constituency Group meetings, which includes Azerbaijan, along with events featuring finance ministers and central bank governors from the Caucasus, the Middle East, and Central Asia, as well as meetings with the senior officials of the World Bank and the IMF. The delegation is also expected to hold bilateral meetings and discussions with the executives of foreign central banks and financial institutions.

The Annual Meetings brings together leaders representing the public and private sectors, international organizations, and influential representatives of civil society and academic circles to discuss global and regional challenges.
