Education event held to raise awareness on State Register of Encumbrances on Movable Property

24 October 2025, Baku: The Central Bank is constantly focused on measures aimed at improving the business environment, furthering our country's position in international rankings, expanding entrepreneurs' access to financial resources, and increasing financial inclusion.

In this context, representatives from non-bank credit institutions participated in an awareness event about the State Registry for Encumbrance of Movable Property (the Registry). The Registry was involved in the relevant assessment of the "Financial Services" indicator for the World Bank Group's "Business Ready" report.

The event covered the activities of the Registry (https://mpcr.e-cbar.az), which was established to promote the ecosystem of movable asset-based financing in our country and expand entrepreneurs' access to financial resources.

Representatives of the Central Bank presented to the participants the modern functionalities and advantages of the Registry, which provide online registration, search, correction and termination of encumbrances, as well as the opportunities and prospects provided by the legal framework for movable asset-based financing.

Participants were also introduced to the Central Bank's electronic resources on financial literacy.
