Central Bank held awareness event on capital market’s new financial instruments

30 October 2025, Baku: Among the main goals set within the framework of the Financial Sector Development Strategy 2024-2026, approved by the Central Bank's Management Board, expanding the range of capital market instruments and forming regulatory frameworks in line with international practice are of particular importance.

The Central Bank organized a session dedicated to the topics of securitization (the conversion of assets into securities), green bonds, an investment instrument focused on environmental, social and governance, and sukuk - Islamic securities.

Representatives of investment companies and other market participants attended the event.

The event included presentations on the operating principles and implementation mechanisms of new tools, as well as the Central Bank's regulatory approaches, based on international experience. The interactive session featured fruitful discussions with participants.

The Central Bank's initiatives aim to enhance market participants' professional knowledge and ensure the sustainability of educational programs.
