Central Bank held a training session for media representatives on fundamentals of capital markets

8 December 2025, Baku: The Central Bank continues to support the professional development of media representatives to raise awareness of finance and central banking. The Central Bank's Fundamentals of Capital Market training in Lankaran was an event held in celebration of the 150th anniversary of the establishment of the national press in our country.

Attended by over 20 journalists, the training included a presentation by Central Bank representatives on basic concepts and the functioning of market infrastructure and financial instruments in capital markets, enriched with practical examples. The training also provided information on the Central Bank's initiatives within the framework of capital market regulation and supervision. At the end of the training, the Central Bank representatives answered questions from media representatives.

Later, a visit to the Lankaran Museum of History and Local Lore was organized for the media representatives. This visit enriched the participants' knowledge and provided an opportunity to learn about the region's natural and historical features.
