Central Bank appoints temporary officer to AtaSığorta OJSC

6 January 2026, Baku: As part of supervisory measures, the Management Board of the Central Bank of the Republic of Azerbaijan, with its decision of 6 January 2026, has decided to appoint a temporary officer to AtaSığorta OJSC to determine and protect its financial resilience, and discharge the objectives and authorities specified in the legislation governing temporary management.

From the date of appointment of the temporary officer, all management powers of the insurer’s governing bodies are suspended and exercised by the temporary officer.

Such supervisory measures are designed to safeguard the rights of insurance service consumers and creditors.
