Central Bank of Azerbaijan and Uzbekistan’s National Agency of Perspective Projects sign Memorandum of Understanding on Cooperation

21 January 2026, Baku: The Central Bank of the Republic of Azerbaijan and Uzbekistan’s National Agency of Perspective Projects have signed a memorandum of understanding on cooperation.

In addition to establishing a legal framework for cooperation between the institutions, the memorandum will contribute to strengthening cooperation in the fields of capital and insurance markets, as well as the development, regulation, and supervision of crypto-assets.

The MoU also envisions the exchange of experience and information, mutual visits, joint initiatives, and promoting innovative financial technology development to increase financial inclusion and operational efficiency.
