Central Bank continues its awareness initiatives for media representatives

4 March 2026, Baku: The Central Bank continues to take initiatives aimed at raising media representatives' awareness of current topics on the central banking agenda.

 

The next initiative was a training session called “Financial Technologies, Virtual Assets, and the Development of the Digital Financial Ecosystem”. About 20 media representatives attended the training, which provided detailed information on digitalization processes in the financial sector, innovative payment solutions, open banking principles, and modern regulatory approaches.

 

During the event, participants received information about the development of the country's digital financial ecosystem and regulatory sandbox regime. Their questions about these topics were answered. The training included interactive discussions and comparative examples of international experience.

 

The Central Bank considers strengthening financial literacy to be one of its top priorities and plans to continue its educational initiatives in this area.
