Central Bank convenes Cooperation Council with Entrepreneurs

19 March 2026, Baku: The Cooperation Council with Entrepreneurs under the Central Bank’s Management Board convened an extended session aimed at strengthening ties between the financial sector and the business community and expanding companies’ access to financial services
Council members, bank and financial institution executives, and entrepreneurs from a range of industries attended. Participants discussed financing for the real sector, easing access to credit, supporting mechanisms for small and medium-size enterprises, and the introduction of innovative financial instruments.
Entrepreneurs highlighted the need to improve lending conditions, streamline collateral requirements, expand digital financial services and increase financial access in the regions.
Central Bank Gov. Taleh Kazimov stressed the importance of sustained dialogue, deeper mutual trust and coordinated action. He said the council would continue to serve as an effective platform linking the financial sector and the business community and contribute to the sustainable development of the entrepreneurial environment.
