Central Bank continues supervisory measures against non-bank credit institutions

May 14, 2026, Baku: The Central Bank of the Republic of Azerbaijan is taking the necessary supervisory measures over non-bank credit institutions in accordance with existing legislation and the strategic goals outlined in the Financial Sector Development Strategy for 2024-2026.

In accordance with Article 25.1.1 of the Law of the Republic of Azerbaijan "On Non-Bank Credit Institutions" (the "Law"), the Management Board of the Central Bank of the Republic of Azerbaijan revoked license No. BKT-48 issued to E-Credit Non-Bank Credit Institution Limited Liability Company on July 24, 2024, based on the organization's voluntary application, as stated in the Management Board's Resolution dated May 13, 2026.

According to Article 25.4 of the Law, a non-bank credit institution ceases its activities on the date the resolution to revoke its license takes effect and is liquidated in accordance with the procedure established by the Civil Code of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
